AKB49: Ren'ai Kinshi Jourei

This manga is based on the ever popular AKB48 group. Yoshinaga Hiroko loves AKB48. Urayama loves her, but doesn't think much of AKB48. Urayama Minoru has a pretty face even compared to girls. After his friends planted the idea that Hiroko was going on a date, he follows Hiroko to an AKB48 concert. There, Minoru finds himself backstage with a pass he found on the ground and then in several lucky pervert situations with many of the AKB star members. After being chased and accused a pervert, his impression of them only worsens. But when he gets to the audience seats and the concert starts, he was dumbfounded: Were they really the same girls he met before? Hiroko spots Minoru. He learns she was not on a date, just in love with the group. There, Hiroko confides in him she's always wanted to shine bright on a stage like them. Although she is not confident in herself, yet can't help but wanting to try. She resolves that her next audition will be her final one and then she'll give up. Then Minoru decides he will help her in the audition any way he can, even if it means he has to participate too...as a girl. As Urakawa Minori, he helps Hiroko pass the audition, but inadvertently passes as well. Thus, Hiroko and Minoru's road as idols of AKB48 begins...
