Adele ~Subete o Ubawareta Reijou wa Fukushuu o Chikau~

In the novel Princess of the Black Rose, the wicked Esther finds pleasure in tormenting her younger sibling, the protagonist. However, this depiction couldn't be further from the truth. Esther, as the (current) world knows her, is an upright and kind individual. Due to her ability to heal, she is well-liked and admired among the citizens. Her younger sister Mytia, however, could not be more envious. During the evening of her engagement party, Esther catches Mytia secretly meeting with her fiance Daniel. An infuriated Mytia lunges towards Esther, and the next moment, Esther discovers that her Ability has been stolen! As if thrust back into the events of the novel, Esther can no longer heal. And her engagement? Annulled. Weary of her younger sister's cruelty and her parents' now cold demeanor towards her, she seeks the comfort of Adele, her dearest friend, In an attempt to cheer Esther up, Adele suggests that she join her and her family on a trip to the neighboring country. However, before Esther can reply to her friend...she falls victim to her sister's scheme and is placed in a mental asylum. Sometime later, when Esther has all but resigned herself to a miserable life in confinement, Adele's family dispatches a messenger, providing her a chance at escape. But as soon as she makes it out, she receives the heart-wrenching news of Adele's passing. Spurred on by her dear friend's dying wish for her to find happiness, Esther now assumes her late friend's identity, vowing to bring justice to Mytia. Along the way, she meets the royal family's second son Prince Sirius. Esther...may soon realize that her new life might not go as planned.
